Confession Of Salvation
Lord God,
I come to You today realizing that I am a sinner in need of saving. I’m sorry for all that I have said, thought, or done that was not pleasing to You. [Feel free to specify here if needed.] Father, please help me to live righteously according to Your Word. I’ve tried life my own way, and I believe that through You there is so much better.
So Father, today, I give myself to You. Today I choose faith over fear, and I choose Your truth over the enemy’s many lies. Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, according to Psalm 51:10. [Be sure to visit this verse.]
Father, Your Word says that if we declare with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. So Father, by faith, I declare in this very moment—and for the rest of my life—that Jesus is Lord. I believe that He was sent to this earth to die for our many sins, that He left the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort us, and I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead.
Today, I invite the Holy Spirit to dwell on the inside of me. I thank You, Father, for sending Your only begotten Son for my sake. I thank You for all of Your grace and mercy, Your patience and kindness, and I thank You for the gift of salvation. I love You, Father.
I pray all this in Jesus’ name, Amen!
