As You Are

God wants you to know that you are loved.

The main reason we struggle with identity isn’t because we don’t know who we are—it’s because we don’t know whose we are. We don’t recognize that we belong. And not because of anything we’ve done, but simply because we are loved in a way that doesn’t make sense by human standards.

If we truly knew we were loved as we are, we’d never feel the need to become someone else. We wouldn’t strive to perform, prove, or pretend. We’d rest in who we already are.

When we really sit with the word belonging—to be accepted, rightly placed, connected, claimed—we begin to see that we are already intimately known, kept, and treasured. Not once we accumulate accolades. Not after we fix ourselves. But now. Exactly as we are.

We are His.

And I can’t say this enough—

that is enough.
