Open To Interpretation

The word of God has been interpreted in many different ways throughout history. Just because one interpretation differs from another does not always mean that one is right and the other is wrong. It is important to be open-minded about the interpretations of others; their life experiences may allow them to see something in the scripture that you might not recognize. However, remain vigilant by testing every spirit. Interpretations may differ, but the character of God remains, so one’s interpretations should never contradict who we know God to be.
