An Open Door Pt.3

Symbolizations for this entry (aids in understanding):

An open door = A door that leads to the promises of God

See Parts 1 & 2…

I didn’t plan on doing a Part 3, but God placed something else on my heart…

The key is to overcome fear through the strength God has already placed inside of you. This can only be done by faith. Faith is the key.

Though an open door may be set before you, without faith you will not be able to enter. We need faith to step in because we will need faith to remain once we get there. Like anything else, you have a choice: though you see what can be yours, will you move according to the will of God to obtain these things — and to keep them?

It takes faith not only to step into the will of God for your life, but to remain in His will. Because when you are walking with God, not every occurrence will make complete sense. Sometimes, nothing will make sense at all.

Let me make this clear so there is no confusion — this is faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). A promise given by God can only come into fruition by God. If you attempt to obtain a promise by any other “way,” you risk stepping into a counterfeit. Remember — Satan gives “blessings” too… they just lead to death.

Faith rooted in anything other than Christ will never result in the manifestation of God-given promises. The promises of God are yours if you do what is necessary to obtain them, and that is: live according to the will of God for your life by walking in obedience. For obedience to God is greater than sacrifice (see 1 Samuel 15:22).

Revelations 3:8:

10) “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
